I know what you mean, Tanja. I just about broke my neck running downstairs to see the bathing summer tanager (!!!) that has been hanging around. Sadly, no bathing photos, but I got to watch her for a bit and it totally made my day! Her and WIlson’s … double dose of sunshine. 😀

What a beauty! Is it a Wilson’s Warbler?

Yes! He’s a favorite and returns every year to our yard without fail. He’s not usually a bath dunker (like the Yellow-rumped warblers are), so it was fun shooting him as he splashed about. ‘Tweety,’ as my kids have named him, has been featured here a few times before .. some with video.
