As Houston was getting pummeled with rain, we took shelter on the beach up in the air -- where it's safe from flooding! Houston dried out and we got wet chasing birds and enjoying life out of school for the summer.
This is a follow-up to yesterday's, twice the length (1,400 words) but worth the story -- 250 birds for The Big Year! I am hoping the nature photos will make up for the long read. Cheers, all!
