An aerial of our property is featured with photos of winter arrivals (birds) here. Purposeful plans for conservation in our own backyard help to counter the sadness of 'slash and burn' removal of acres upon acres of raw woods to make way for more human infrastructure.
A short video of "The Boss," a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird who has claimed exclusive rights to one of our feeders. The rest are swarming with birds for the fall migration.
A collection of photos from around the neighborhood. As more and more habitat is destroyed (for wildlife) to make way for more houses (for humans), many animals are making the best of it. We are too...it's really hot.
